What You Will Do

• Design and develop robust, extensible, high-quality code that meets business, technical and quality requirements.
• Responsible for a complex code base and the relationship front end, back end, middleware, and various APIs.
• Troubleshooting, and debugging when necessary.
• Concise documentation of developments.
• Attending brainstorming sessions with internal or external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate estimates for development effort, complexity, and risk for software development.
• Enabling healthy team processes, with the right pace and operational cadence.
• Working with the CIO on setting the foundations for the healthy growth of Product and Engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years front end and back-end web development experience, such as in JavaScript (React, Node,TypeScript, Express), Python and other modern frameworks and tooling.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Kubernetes, Lambda, Fargate, CodePipeline, Helm, Terraform, and ability to deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS.
• Experience in designing and deploying public APIs; This is a full stack role with an emphasis of back-end development.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and database design.
• Experience in architectural design.
