Our founding team consists of second-time ex-Wall Street founders with deep expertise in trading and hedging. Ming is an ex- long/short investor from Point72 Asset Management; Bonny is an ex- high frequency trader from Sun Trading. You would be joining the team as one of our first engineers.
About the Role:
As the company’s first infrastructure engineer, you will be building and maintaining several microservices and infrastructure pipelines that power our core financial product. You will gain a unique look into how the US financial system works on the inside and strengthen your financial-domain knowledge. You will wear multiple hats and have lots of autonomy (from making software architecture decisions to defining scalability requirements at every touchpoint of the product stack). You will have high impact and high growth potential.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience as a devops engineer
Expertise building and deploying microservices in AWS
Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS EKS
Expertise setting up Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or AWS MSK
Fluency in Python or Javascript highly preferred
